"L'Allegro" is set to Handel's oratorio with a libretto based on John Milton's pastoral odes. Inspired by both Handel and Milton as well as William Blake's 12 watercolors illustrating Milton's poems, Morris created "L'Allegro" for 24 dancers, orchestra, chorus and vocal soloists.
