Martha Graham Dance Company: Cave of the Heart
The Martha Graham Dance Company presents Cave of the Heart in week four of the 92nd Street Y's Harkness Dance Festival. The program, which represents a homecoming for the late Graham, who taught and performed at 92Y, will feature sets designed by sculptor Isamu Noguchi. In the “Stripped” portion of the program, Artistic Director Janet Eilber will explore how Graham’s “vocabulary” and classroom technique evolved with each new dance she created.
