Miro Magloire presents his New Chamber Ballet in the world premiere of a work to music by young composer Elizabeth Gartman, along with repertory dances.  Ms. Gartman, born in 1996, is te first recipient of the newly formed Composition Prize for Dance, a collaboration of Magloire and the Manhattan School of Music.  The winner receives a commission to write a work for New Chamber Ballet, to be performed at the Manhattan School of Music and at a Magloire concert.   Also on the program are Magloire works to music by Friedrich Cerha, Tristan Murail, and Johannes Brahms.  All music played live by pianist Melody Fader and violinist Doori Na.
