We will practice growing a new body, a utopian body, a sensational body, an anarchic body. We will practice being in pleasure and giving our bodies a voice by being and knowing in our flesh, our bones, our guts, our skin, our sex... with eyes that see without naming and see without knowing.

luciana achugar is a Brooklyn-based choreographer from Uruguay who's been making work independently since 2002, after working collaboratively with Levi Gonzalez for a few years. Her work is concerned with the post-colonial world, searching for an undoing of power structures from the inside out. Her latest work An Epilogue for OTRO TEATRO: True Love (2015) will be presented at LMCC’s River To River Festival in June 2016.
