Movement Workshop: Wukkout

The Brooklyn Museum’s Target First Saturday celebrates Caribbean heritage and the 50th anniversary of the West Indian American Day Parade on August 5. Highlights include a performance by RIVA & Bohio Music, the mobile art center caribBEING House, a movement workshop by Wukkout! where you can learn how to juk, wuk up, and wine in this high-energy soca dance class (see photo)and performances by female Caribbean artists Sol Nova, Ting & Ting with Kitty Cash, Young Devyn, Sesame Flyers, and Freaks Mas.
