Dancers of the Met, an independent collective of dancers who have performed with the Metropolitan Opera, is joining with furloughed members of the Met Orchestra and Met Chorus Artists to produce an outdoor dance/music event May 16th.  The day's events will begin at 11 AM with short demonstrations of dance and opera music for the public.  The two dance performances will take place at 4 PM and 5:30 PM, featuring choreographies by Danielle Russo, Michelle Vargo, Belinda McGuire, and Jacoby Pruitt, accompanied live by musicians and vocalist from the Metropolitan Opera.  This happy collaboration brings live dance, music, and opera back to NYC's diverse and vibrant arts community.
