The FEST is a hub for tango music, dance, literature, poetry, visual art and cinema and a home for the entire global tango community to celebrate, learn, showcase and further the tango genre, extending its 100-year history in NYC.

ATTEND FESTIVAL EVENTS: June 18 Opening Night at KnJ Theater (Union Square) featuring Cuartetango Music & Dance Co. + Peridance Contemporary Dance Company, Practica at Peridance + Milongas with Live Music, Argentine Cinema with tango stars, Closing Night Milonga at La Capilla Del Tango with Maestros of Argentine Tango, Orquesta Tipica and special exhibitions. 

STUDY TANGO DANCE: 3 full days of dance June 19-21 for tango dancers of all leveels and professional opportunities and scholorships for pro-dancers. Faculty: Guillermo Merlo (Tony-Award winning Broadway tango dancer & chorepgrapher), Leonardo & Olga Suarez-Paz (multidisiplinary tango artists featured on Broadway, Lincoln Center in NYC and Teatro Colon, CCK, BsAs Tango Fest in Argentina).

STUDY TANGO MUSIC: Music study programs June 19-21 for all strings (violin, viola, cello, bass), piano, guiar ensemble, voice and Orquesta Tipica. Study with Award-Winning Argentine Maestros & carries of a multigenerational tradition: Leonardo Suarez-Paz (2xLatin Grammy nom, Grammy featured composer, violinist, vocalist, director + 4th generation tango artist & mentee of Astor Piazzolla), Rodolfo Zanetti (Grammy-winning bandoneonist, faculty & concert artist), Anibal Berraute (Grammy nominated pianist & producer), Alejo De Los Reyes (3rd generation tango musician, guitar & vocal faculty).
