Pam Tanowitz Dance returns to The Joyce Theater with a live broadcast performance event featuring "Gustave Le Gray, No. 2" with music by Caroline Shaw, and a new site-specific work “Finally Unfinished: Part 1” with music by Ted Hearne. A digital scrapbook of the creative process titled "Finally Unfinished: Part 2” accompanies the performances.

Created in collaboration with her dancers while in quarantine via Zoom, this new work is the second iteration of Tanowitz’s site-specific dances and will take place throughout the empty Joyce Theater. Tanowitz invites audience members to engage further with an interactive companion piece created in collaboration with director Jeremy Jacob. This interactive website, specially crafted for audience members, acts as a curio cabinet that weaves and juxtaposes images, writings, videos, and other inspirations from Tanowitz's creative process. Learn more about the unique costume design by Reid Bartelme and Harriet Jung, and step into the studio with dancers Jason Collins, Brittany Engel-Adams, Christine Flores, Zachary Gonder, Lindsey Jones, Victor Lozano, and Melissa Toogood.

Pam Tanowitz Dance premieres December 12, 2020 at 5pm ET. The performance will be available to view on-demand through December 26. Reserve your virtual seat in the Theater today!
