PhysFestNYC will be NYC's first festival dedicated to physical theater in all of its multiplicity, innovation, and genre-bending nature. It will run January 5th - 14th 2024 at Stella Adler Center for the Arts in FiDi, featuring 27 different shows from 15 minutes to full-length, 17 workshops from Butoh to whacking to mime, and 7 panel discussions from What is Physical Theater to Eco-Performance and many topics in between. The fest will be bookended by opening and closing-night parties to connect with our community. 

PhysFestNYC is designed for both practitioners and curious audiences, pooling resources and offering an indie, body-based take on where Theater is headed. It is values-led, community-based, and guided by a big vision!
