Audition Photo: Students must upload one photo with their online registration in first arabesque. 

​​Audition Fee: $45

Walk-In Registration: Online pre-registration online is strongly preferred, however, walk-in registration is available. Walk-in registrants should bring a smartphone or other internet capable device to fill out the registration form and a credit or debit card for the registration fee.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

This year-round training program is designed to meet the needs of those dedicated students who seek the highest standard of classical ballet education to prepare for a professional career.

Working daily under Edward Ellison's artistic direction, and his faculty's careful guidance, students develop the essential skills to fully explore and realize their greatest individual potential. This program is based on the Vaganova method, a system of training that is logical, thought-provoking, inspiring and highly effective. There is great emphasis on our men's program, focusing on the development of the power, stamina, and masculinity associated with strong male technique.

Along with daily lessons in classical technique, students are immersed in learning the classical repertoire and are exposed to a variety of workshops to develop fluency in various styles of dance.
 

Preparatory Level

After School & Weekend Training for Ages 10-13

Ellison Ballet has expanded the year-round Professional Training Program to include the Preparatory Level for serious young dancers ages 10-13. Students receive a minimum of 15 hours per week of world-class training from highly-qualified, renowned masters of the craft.

This exclusive opportunity offers dedicated students the chance to build the strong classical foundation necessary to prepare them for the upper levels of the program, and, ultimately, a professional classical ballet career.

Junior/Senior/Trainee Levels

A Full-Time Training Program for Ages 13-21

A full-day training program designed to meet the needs of those dedicated students 13-21 years of age who seek the highest standard of classical ballet education to prepare for a professional career.

Working daily under Edward Ellison's artistic direction and his faculty's careful guidance, students develop the essential skills to fully explore and realize their greatest individual potential.
