REVIVAL 2 is the second project in a series that brings 20th Century dance to life through the bodies of the people who danced it. Through this project, participating choreographers in their 60s, 70s, and 80s are transmitting a legacy of dance to the next generation of dance-lovers. Dance is an ephemeral form, held in the minds and bodies of its dancers, and passed down from person to person. This project continues that tradition, with a focus on seven remarkable older women choreographers and dancers.
