CITY DANCE NEW YORK ANNOUNCES:

“STORIES IN MOTION”
SEASON 3 FUNDRAISING GALA PERFORMANCES ON
APRIL 11 AT 7:30 PM  / APRIL 13 AT 7:30 PM

City Dance New York (CDNY), a 5013c not-for-profit ballet company founded on the Upper East Side of Manhattan by former professional dancer Michael Buoni, announces two spring gala fundraising performances of “Stories in Motion.”  The showcase performances will include works from Harlequinade, Talisman, and Gatsby, as well as works by CDNY resident composer Joseph Jones, a Peabody Conservatory graduate. 

Gala performances will be held on April 11 at 7:30pm and April 13 at 7:30pm. Each performance will last approximately 60 minutes.  

Ticketholders with reception access are invited to join a pre-performance reception with wine and cheese beginning at 6:45pm.

CDNY is a not-for-profit organization. All contributions are tax-deductible.

Dancers and Company Info:

The list of dancers includes Nicole Fedorov, Lilit Hogtanian, Olivia Mitchell, Ethan Schweitzer-Gaslin, Mushegh Avetisyan, Brett Coppa, Dolce Crespo, Laurence Gonzales, Hana Namizaki, and Lilian Smith. The Gala will also include young dancers from Manhattan. 

City Dance New York, founded by Michael Buoni in 2022, has quickly established itself with world-class performances encompassing a range of classical and contemporary productions, including ballets such as Cinderella, Dracula, Coppelia, Snow Queen, and Midsummer Night's Dream. This inclusive dance company also prioritizes educational outreach and fosters a multicultural environment for dancers and enthusiasts. By blending artistry with athleticism, City Dance New York aims to bring the joy and expression of dance to the wider community in NYC and beyond.
