CityDanceNY Presents Season 5 Showcase “Spring Awakens” — A Must-See Evening of Dance and Music Featuring Exceptional Live Musicians

CityDanceNY proudly announces Spring Awakens, an inspiring evening of dance and music taking place March 20–21, 2026, from 7:30–8:30 p.m. at Ballet Arts Studio at City Center. This Season 5 production promises audiences a vibrant, uplifting performance that blends expressive choreography with outstanding live musical artistry.

The program features selections including La Fille Mal Gardée, Pas d’Esclave, Odalisques,and a special tribute inspired by The Great Gatsby. Acclaimed pianist Cenovia Cummins will perform live, alongside the electrifying sounds of the New York Ska-Jazz Ensemble playing compositions by renowned composer Claude Bolling. Together, these high-quality musicians elevate the performance into an unforgettable artistic experience.

Designed to celebrate renewal, artistry, and collaboration, Spring Awakens showcases CityDanceNY’s dedication to excellence in both artistry and athleticism.
