Sleek elegance and exquisite technical precision open Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival. The Hong Kong Ballet performs Polish choreographer Krzysztof Pastor's In Light and Shadow, set to Johann Sebastian Bach's rich and celebratory "Goldberg Variations" and "Orchestral Suite in D Major No. 3."

The program also includes Nacho Duato's commanding all-male work Castrati, and a poetic trio A Room of Her Own by National Ballet of China resident choreographer Fei Bo.
