Triskelion Arts is pleased to present a shared program of new work by Laurel Snyder, Li Cata, and Paul Singh this June in the Muriel Schulman Theater.

Li Cata's A Propagandum questions the effects of media on its audiences. What are terrorist videos, elite newspapers, abstract dances, or pop songs trying to tell me? As a creator, what messages am I conveying, intended or unintended? A Propagandum becomes complicit in the hype-making while trying to keep aware of what it's propagating. Made in collaboration with Liz McAuliffe.

Laurel Snyder continues her solo exploration of melody and movement with her newest work, solos are hard to make. She will call on her physical intelligence to release her blocks as a songwriter and compose new melodies live in conversation with her pre-recorded, original sound-score. Together, these elements will inspire a layered, viscerally aural landscape; a unique reality where vulnerability is presented, embraced, and celebrated.

Paul Singh wants to be madder than you. He wants to be hungrier than you. He wants to be gracious like you. He wants to be unrecognizable to you… to make you keep coming back.
