The Valentina Kozlova International Ballet Competition will take place April 18-21 at The Kaye Playhouse with 100+ exceptional classical and contemporary dancers from around the world performing for company contracts, scholarships to international schools, and medals.  Charles Jude, former etoile with the Paris Opera Ballet, returns as President of the Jury, which includes Nina Ananiashvili, Mikko Nissinsen, Virginie Mecene, Bradley Shelver, Brooklyn Mack, and more.   Schedule:

April 18 opens at 1:30 pm with a short performance by the State Ballet of Georgia, directed by Ananiashvili and currently on a U.S. tour, and continues with the Classical Ballet competition;

April 19 opens at 2 pm for contemporary/neo classical dance

April 20 are Finals for Classical Ballet and begins at 2 pm

April 21 begins with Gala Performance at 7 pm, featuring medalists and guests; also a performance by Bradley Shelver's Joffrey Ballet Concert Group and a duet for Kozlova and Ricardo Scheir.  The performance will be followed by announcement of the winners.
