A Dance Exploration of Environmental Justice

Mayta Fusion Dance Company is proud to present We Are Organic with the World, a new collaborative dance work that brings urgent attention to the realities of environmental injustice through storytelling, and structured improvisation.

Inspired by the words of Shoghi Effendi—“Man is organic with the world. His inner life moulds the environment and is itself also deeply affected by it”—this piece highlights the undeniable interconnection between humanity and the natural world. It explores the impact of global warming, pollution, waste, and the endangerment of animals, revealing how these crises mirror and affect our own lives.

We Are Organic with the World invites audiences to reflect on our shared responsibility for the planet and the need for unity, collective awareness, and healing. The work is a vision of hope, emphasizing that change is only possible when we recognize our oneness.
