As a collaborative dance company, MeMovement aims to ignite inspiring conversations and foster a sense of community through our art. Our Manifesto

 

We declare that womanhood is an intricate tapestry, woven from both resilient and delicate threads—a beautiful union of strength and tenderness. We champion the power found in vulnerability and resilience, understanding that these traits enrich not only our lives but also our relationships with one another.

 

We seek to reclaim the narrative surrounding domesticity and elevate the everyday to a form of artistic expression. By engaging with our daily routines as rituals of creation, we embrace the ordinary and transform it into something extraordinary. We possess an incredible ability to transform mundane moments into showcases of art that reflect our unique identities and voices.

 

We recognize that our appearance carries significant power, shaping perceptions and influencing interactions. Our presentation—through both our attire and body language—acts as a potent form of nonverbal communication that conveys our emotions, confidence, and intentions.

 

Moreover, we acknowledge that as women, we have devoted too much time to caring for others, perfecting our performances, and revising our identities. This leads us to contemplate: how much time is truly enough time?
