Yes and Yes

Four dance artists wearing floral masks and gloves, pulling, pushing, and cradling one another mid-performance. Steve O'Connor

Yes and Yes takes its title from the final episode of Ulysses, which both begins and ends with a “yes.” This work from the acclaimed Irish contemporary choreographer Liz Roche journeys through the chapters of James Joyce's seminal novel to explore its sensuality, absurdity, release, and resignation in movement with four extraordinary dancers and through film, sound, and design. Performed by Mufutau Yusuf, Sarah Cerneaux, Grace Cuny, and Toon Theunissen.

“[A] cultural trailblazer... Liz Roche’s incredible choreography has brought her dance company around the world” — THE IRISH TIMES
