the modern dance awareness society in association with Chashama celebrates the 10th anniversary of passTRESpass with a site-specific dance party in the sky. Come for live music, contemporary dance performance, a silent auction, and more, at an exclusive office location in the Bank of America building with a glittering view overlooking Times Square. 

The passTRESpass project is a movement workshop that addresses the refugee crisis in Greece. Proceeds from the benefit will go towards a summer workshop in Athens that bridges cultural divides and promotes understanding, while providing refugees with the means to transform their experiences through healing somatic practices such as yoga, dance improvisation, and Theater of the Oppressed exercises. 

The benefit party will feature a site-specific dance performance, live acoustic music, a video of the project, and a dance party as day turns to night. There will also be a silent auction with artwork commissioned by Burning Man artists and more.
