The State has a new administration and all of us have a lot of work to do to make the case for supporting dance in New York.

Dance/NYC is joining the New York City Arts Coalition and sister groups throughout the State for Arts Day in Albany on Tuesday, February 8. Please contact Lacey Althouse at lalthouse@dancenyc.org by January 28 if you are interested in going with us.

If you cannot join us in Albany, please designate any dance activities you may be presenting the week of February 7 as part of Arts Week for New York State and invite your legislative representatives to your activities that week. You should try to see your legislators when they are in their districts on February 10 and 11 and urge them to support the arts.
