Auditions for the Ya'el Tap Dance Company

Ya’el Tap is a tap dance company featuring works inspired by Hebrew music, Israeli movement, and Jewish themes. In addition, Ya'el Tap includes meaningful non-religious pieces that expand the boundaries of our repertoire.

We are currently looking for new tap dancers (all ethnic backgrounds, races, and religions are encouraged to audition) to join our company for the upcoming season.

At this time, rehearsals are unpaid, however; there will be compensation for various performances. While we have a few showcases coming up this season, our main performance that we will be working on is Saturday, July 14th, at 8:00PM (tech rehearsal will be that afternoon). This will be an evening of dance with Ya'el Tap at the Wild Project in the east village.

Rehearsals will be held once a week on varying weekday evenings at the Gowanus Arts Center in Park Slope, Brooklyn (a few short blocks away from Atlantic Terminal). We will start rehearsing in the beginning of March.

Please email a picture (does not have to be professional headshot) and resume to Julie Rubin at julierubin79@gmail.com.
