Volunteer Crew needed for Perceptions Dance Festival

 
The Perceptions Dance Festival is looking for volunteer crew members for the 2012 Festival. The show will be held at Triskelion Arts in Williamsburg, Brooklyn in the Aldous Theater.
Crew needed:
Stage Manager
Backstage Hands
Ushers (free ticket to show per night)
Technical Rehearsal Dates:
Monday 9/17 12:00-2:00pm (optional)
Tuesday 9/18 10:00am - 1:00pm
Thursday 9/20 10:00am - 4:00pm
Friday 9/21 10:00am - 3:00pm
Show Dates:
Thursday 9/20 - 6pm call, 8pm show
Friday 9/21 - 6pm call, 8pm show
Saturday 9/22 - 6pm call, 8pm show
There will be a reception immediately following the show that the crew will set. Once the reception is set the crew is invited to stay to enjoy refreshments and network with the companies, press and audience. This show is a wonderful way - in addition to building experience - to build your networks with other companies, book future jobs and increase visibility in the theater & dance world.
The Perceptions Dance Festival provides dance artists (emerging and established) with the opportunity to be presented in New York City. The festival is designed to support choreographers and companies around the country and internationally, providing the necessary technical aspects of staging professional work with minimal costs incurred. This festival provides artists with a state-of-the-art theater, expert technical crew, promotion and exposure in the New York City area, while creating the opportunity for growth and development by allowing each artist to focus solely on their art.
