Ballet Risqué (bal.lay ris.kay) is a New York City all-male ballet company which combines the art of ballet with a touch of the risqué.  It is slightly indecent, but not vulgar.  It is sexually suggestive, but not obscene.  It is naughty, but not rude.

We are a brand new, just forming, dance company. We are seeking talented male ballet dancers who can move sensually and provocatively to get it all started.

Dancers get paid per performance and should expect a difference in earnings per performance. Rehearsals are presently unpaid and are held in Manhattan. 

REQUIREMENTS:

*Dancers must have a strong background in ballet.
*Dancers must be able and willing to move sensually and provocatively.
*Dancers must be dedicated and able to make a commitment to a new dance company.  This means willing and able to grow with us.
*Dancers must be sexy and not afraid to show it.
*Dancers must be physically fit.
*Dancers must be at least 21 years of age.

If you fit all the requirements above, please send us the following audition submissions for consideration.  ONLY selected dancers will be notified with in-person audition information.

AUDITION SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS: 

1.  A full body photo in a ballet pose.  DO NOT send nudes!

2.  A video link of at least one minute and a half which shows your ability to mix ballet with sensual movement. Choreography must be to up-beat music. 

A sample list of songs has been provided for you below to give you an idea of what music to use.  You may use one of the listed samples for your choreo, or you may use music of your choice with similar beats to those listed.

NOTE: the video does not have to be professional (you can use your phone, etc.).  HOWEVER, it must be clear enough for us to see your movements.
