Pushing Progress Contemporary Dance seeks Volunteers for Showcase Series!

Who We Are: Pushing Progress Contemporary Dance is a training program and contemporary dance network in New York City. Our training programs are unique in that we focus on training the whole dancer: mind, body, artist. We do this by offering a 2-year training program, our Professional Development Program and our bi-annual intensives. We also support our local contemporary dance community by providing teaching opportunities for them as well as the yearly performance opportunity through our Annual Showcase Series.

What We Are Looking For: Pushing Progress is looking for a group of self-motivated volunteers to help out at our Annual Showcase Series with tasks such as ticket sales, handing out fliers, show set-up/take-down, etc. Volunteers would need to be available for tech rehearsal on Sunday, February 15th (9:30am- 5pm) and Friday, February 20th (7:30am- 12:30pm) and performance dates Saturday, February 21st (7pm-11:30pm) and Sunday, February 22nd (6:30pm -11:30 pm) Performances start at 8:30 and 8 pm respectively, show to run approximately 90 minutes.

Still reading? Volunteers should be self-motivated, creative individuals who are passionate about supporting the arts! In addition, all volunteers will receive a discount on upcoming workshops/intensives hosted by Pushing Progress as a thank-you for your donated time and energy.

Think you might be interested in growing your dance community and supporting the works of other up-and-coming artists with your positive spirit? If so, send your resume along with any questions you might have to pushingprogress@gmail.com
