of bones || hollye bynum seeks Administrative Intern for their Fall 2016 Season.

of bones || hollye bynum is a film and stage, dance production company based in Brooklyn, NY that seeks to find parallels between dancer and view by exploring the human experience through both film and stage works. Ms. Bynum approaches the creation of movement with honesty and simplicity by stripping away extraneous variables yet preserving attention to detail. Stemming from her own experiences, Ms. Bynum encourages her performers to conduct a similar personal investigation. Through crafted movement with accessible subject matter, Ms. Bynum offers platforms for audiences to connect with the performers on an intimate level and challenges individuals to be more present, conscious, and aware.

Intern will work closely with Artistic Director, Hollye Bynum and the of bones Administrative Team to plan and execute objectives as well as gain experience and knowledge pertaining to the inner workings of an emerging dance production company. Intern will help with planning for rehearsals, conferences, lectures, and masterclasses, website upkeep, general administrative support, etc. In addition, intern will help with the administrative workings of our upcoming productions, including the 4th Annual mouthfull. taking place on October 22, 2016 at the Center for Performance Research.

Commitment:

- October 1, 2016 - January 1, 2016

- 10 hours per week: Tuesdays and Thursdays 11am - 3pm (Occasionally additional hours will be needed.)

*This internship is paid, and school credit is also available.

Requirements:

- Looking for a passionate, hard working, prompt, independent, and organized individual that will have the dedication and understand the responsibility it takes to work in this type of hands on environment.

- Must be Mac proficient and able to provide a laptop for office hours.
