Spark Movement Collective (Spark) seeks a well-rounded, athletic male dancer with a background in modern and ballet for its 2017-2018 Season. Spark is looking for dancers with strong stage presence, clean technique, precise movement, and the ability to give creative input while picking up steps quickly. Rehearsals are regularly held on Mondays from 6:00-9:00pm with one additional weekly rehearsal scheduled around dancer and studio availability. Dancers must be available to perform on September 29th and 30th at the Actors Fund Arts Center in downtown Brooklyn. Additional performance opportunity available for the morning of July 17th, if new dancer is available.

Dancers will receive a stipend for participating in performances on September 29th and 30th, in addition to performing in any other shows that are produced by Spark (ie not showcases or festivals). The base payment for a weekend of performances is $200, and the stipend increases each year a dancer is with Spark. Additional $100 stipend for July 17th performance.
