Calling all choreographers and dancers!

Applications are now open for dancers and choreographers aged 16 and above to be a part of SPRINGbreak ChoreoFest 2018. Applications are due by January 30, 2018.

SPRINGbreak ChoreoFest is an incubator for modern and contemporary dance choreography for emerging and seasoned artists.
The program takes place Monday March 26 through Friday March 30, 2018, providing dancers and up to 6 choreographers with a free optional class each morning at one of our sponsor locations (see list below) followed by 2.5 hours of rehearsal time to create a new dance work-in-progress. These pieces will then be shown in the Grace Gamm Theater at the Dairy Arts Center with full production on Friday March 30, 2018 at 7:30pm.

The purpose is not to have a complete work by the end of the week, but the start of something that will then grow independently. We are interested to see the spark of creative ideas.
