Shine's logo

Shine is New York City’s leading provider of pop-up classes, parties, workshops, events, and camps for kids ages 0-10 years old. We take children’s education, enrichment, and entertainment out of traditional environments and make them mobile by creating unique pop-up experiences in client’s homes, a building’s common space, or at venues in and around Manhattan.

Job Description

Shine provides private in-home music classes for children ages 0-4 years old and music at parties and events for children 1-10 years old. Each class, workshop, and party organized by Shine is a custom, one-of-a-kind experience developed through collaborative planning.

Shine’s at-home music classes provide a focused and enriched experience for each child. The instructor should be able to follow a music/movement based curriculum while adding their own unique teaching style along with their voice and instrument of choice (guitar, keyboard, etc).

The instructor must be flexible, hard-working, outgoing, and good with children and adults. Most importantly, Shine is looking for musicians who can bring their unique spirit, musicality, and performance style to add a sense of rock and roll to traditional children’s music classes.

We offer competitive pay and room for growth within a small business.
