FINAL Deadline - April 30, 2018

$50 to apply with one work, $75 to apply with up to 4 works

Applications must be received by April 30th to be considered for the 2018 Festival.

This year’s festival will include the Main Event performances and Level UP, a commissioned evening for three artists.

The Festival offers performances in New York City at the Ailey Citigroup Theater and the Gelsey Kirkland Arts Center and in Huntsville, Texas at Sam Houston State University. This is an exciting opportunity for choreographers to present larger and smaller works in a fully produced dance festival, teach master classes, and be considered for future residencies.

As a part of our continued mission to find up-and-coming choreographic talent at the international level, the Dance Gallery Festival is proud to continue our Level UP program. Level UP serves as a performance showcase for three talented choreographers that are ready to advance to the next level in the development and promotion of their work. Each company will receive 25 minutes of performance time in the Level UP concert, a commission fee, and a residency in the Catskills.

Festival Dates: October 25-27 2018 in TX, and November 2-5 2016 in NYC
