"Our Differences Create a Brighter Future”

sarAika movement collective, a New York-based contemporary dance company led by Aika Takeshima and Sara Pizzi, is once again performing in a large-scale, inclusive performance at the 2025 NYC Pride March on Sunday, June 29th.

We are seeking dancers, movers, and performers of all backgrounds to join our vibrant, community-centered marching performance! You will dance to the live music! 

DATE: Sunday June 29th  2025

COSTUMES: 
-Anything colorful! Your complete freedom! (as long as it's family-friendly)

WHAT YOU DO:

-Dancers: Easy routine choreographies during the chorus of each song and improvisation with colorful ribbons, walk, and have fun! You will dance to the live music! (*Choreography will be sent via email.)
-Drag performers: Dress up, walk, have fun, dance if you want, and be you!
-Special performers: Contact us if you can do something wow, such as Baton twirling

We will close this call when we reach to maximum number of applicants.
