Café con Rumba is seeking Hispanic/Latine choreographers based in New York City to present work in our 2025 show. We are looking for pieces that are 3–5 minutes long, ideally set to music in Spanish.

Café con Rumba is a curated performance held during Hispanic Heritage Month, created to celebrate and honor our rich cultural heritage and stories. Our mission is to provide an artistic sanctuary for choreographers to share work without limitations—bridging the gap between the homes we left behind and the ones we’ve now created.

This year, our show will take place on Friday, October 3rd, and Saturday, October 4th, 2025 at Manhattan Movement and Arts Center (248 W 60th St, New York, NY 10023).

There is no cost to participate. We are actively fundraising to cover venue expenses, and any additional funds raised will go directly to the choreographers.
