AUDITION CALL: Guest Artists for Matriarch
Presented by The R.E.A.C.H. Collective

The R.E.A.C.H. Collective is casting guest artists for Matriarch, our first independently produced evening-length dance production. This original work celebrates the strength, wisdom, and legacy of Black women and family through movement, spoken word, and live instrumentation.

We’re seeking movement artists with a collaborative spirit, strong presence, and a passion for ensemble-driven work. Artists of all backgrounds are welcome, with special encouragement for Black and Brown artists aligned with our mission.

Time: 12:00–3:00 PM
Location: Dancewave, 182 4th Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11217
Compensation: Stipend available; details shared at audition

AUDITION FORMAT
The audition will include:

Collective warm-up led by REACH

Guided improvisation based on themes from Matriarch

Phrase work from the production

Wear comfortable clothing and bring water. No headshots or résumés required — just your full presence.

February 2026: The R.E.A.C.H. Collective Works-in-Progress Showing  
March 2026: Matriarch Full-Length Premiere (Full show)
