The second performance will be on Sunday, September 21st which dancers will participate in the process of a new work titled [UN] bound

About the work for August 8th:

The year is 1692. The time is unknown, but the location is Salem, Massachusetts. You are witnessing the very infamous Salem Witch Trials, although different to what you may have learned about. Keep in mind that this was a true event and very much about control of the body in the form of looking different from those around you. Similar to certain ideals in today's society. Forget what you know, and only look at the now, as these bodies are being controlled by forces, we can’t quite name. Some guess Satan and “Witchcraft”, others the very men that led this village. That, however, is up to you to decide. Footage: https://youtu.be/jgv8oJp4ykE?si=IyoBe0W2H8qznUNn

About the new work for September 21st:

This contemporary piece will consist of five dancers delving into the concept of breaking free of control that you felt by yourself or society. Life moves fast. Sometimes humans get caught up in life and become a person they no longer recognize. As humans we mold ourselves to fit a standard that society puts us into. But happens when we finally realize we don't need to be what society or even ourselves tells us to be? How does it feel to break free?
