This year, McKoy Dance Project (MDP) is looking to present 4 choreographers or companies during Collective Voices Dance Festival.

McKoy Dance Project (MDP) expanded its programs in 2024 to include MDP | Presents: Collective Voices. Across two days, MDP presents several new ballets next to the diverse and talented voices of today. The Collective Voices Dance Festival provides a platform for 5+ choreographers to showcase their work in New York City alongside MDP. Two choreographers will be chosen by the community, named “People’s Choice”, and asked to present their works on both nights affording those choreographers increased visibility.
Date of Festival: October 18th-19th, 2025
Application Fee: We have removed this year's application fee!
Deadline to Submit: Friday, September 5th at 11:59pm ET

Important Notes: 

All choreographers/companies will be notified of their application's result on Tuesday, September 9th, 2025. 
Selected choreographers will be responsible for a $50 shared production fee, not due until October 1st, 2025. This will help pay for photography and videography. 
Each choreographer/company will be required to sell tickets per minute of their work. I.e. 5 minutes equals 5 tickets. 
Works must be no more that 10-12 minutes
There will be opportunities to teach workshops to the public for the People's Choice artists.
