TEATRO CRDANCE 2025/2026 Application

Launched on May 10–11, 2025, TEATRO CRDANCE is a groundbreaking modern dance platform that debuted in New York at the Martha Graham Studio Theater. Created by Artistic Director Caterina Rago, this monthly series presents performances, master classes, artist residencies, and cross-cultural exchanges. With a mission to innovate and educate, TEATRO CRDANCE connects diverse and distinctive voices from international choreographers and dancers through both live and digital programming.

Following its powerful debut featuring CRDANCE, Nai-Ni Chen, Abarukas, Joffrey Concert Group, Los Ricos, and Peridance Contemporary Dance Company, the summer series concluded with performances by CRDANCE, Madre Projects, and Suzanne Ponomarenko Dance.

 

ELIGIBILITY 

Applications are open to:

• Established and emerging dance companies

• Established and emerging independent choreographers

• Multidisciplinary artists incorporating movement

 

OPPORTUNITIES 

Selected applicants will have the chance to:

• Present up to 20 minutes of work in the 2025/2026 TEATRO CRDANCE season

• Participate in workshops, performances, and post-performance discussions

• Collaborate with international artists and emerging talent

• Engage audiences through live  performances

Important: Invited artists are not responsible for production costs. TEATRO CRDANCE provides technical support, venue, and production resources for all selected participants.

 

APPLICATION GUIDELINES 

To apply, please prepare the following:

1. Applicant Information

• Name of artist or company

• Contact information (email, phone, website/social media)

• Short biography (max. 300 words)

2. Proposal

• Title of the work

• Description of the piece (concept, themes, duration – max. 500 words)

3. Video Submission

• Link(s) to video of the work you wish to present (full-length or rehearsal footage acceptable)

4. Application Fee

• A non-refundable fee of $50 is required for each application

DEADLINE & SUBMISSION

• Rolling applications accepted year-round, as TEATRO CRDANCE is a monthly performance series.

• Season: 2025/2026
