Studio Assistant

Rikud Studio | Prospect Heights
Hours: Monday–Thursday, 4:00–8:00 PM
Pay: $25/hour

Rikud Studio is a hiphop and breakdancing studio built for kids, families, and community. We’re hiring a high-energy Studio Assistant to support daily operations and classes.

This role is ideal for someone just out of college or early in their dance career who is interested in dance business, studio administration, and kids recreation.

Requirements

-Prior dance studio experience required

-Experience teaching hiphop (and/or breaking) to kids required. Familiarity with hip-hop and street dance styles including breaking, hip-hop freestyle, party grooves, popping, locking, house, krump, litefeet, waacking, voguing, flexing, animation, turfing, jerkin, Afro dance, and dancehall.

-Reliable, proactive, and solutions-oriented

-Comfortable interfacing with parents and caregivers

-Willing to jump in and get hands-on when needed

Responsibilities

-Check in students and families

-Reset and clean the studio between and after classes

-Reset signage and room setup

-Run errands and support daily operations

-Interface with clients and resolve issues in real time

-Teach classes and substitute when necessary

-Support instructors and maintain smooth studio flow

Compensation & Perks

$25/hour, part-time
