Apply today for the 2026 NYC ‘On Pointe Dance Festival’. Produced by Neville Dance Theatre, this concert series showcases ballet-based work performed exclusively ON POINTE while celebrating and bringing awareness to the diversity, virtuosity, and excitement of ballet. Two days - two distinct performance programs: Friday, May 8 @7:30pm and Sunday, May 10 @3:30pm 2026 at Arts On Site Studio 3F theatre in NYC.

OPPORTUNITY DETAILS

-What: 'On Pointe Dance Festival' - a curated, two day - two distinct program concert series of ballet works performed on pointe.
-Where: Arts On Site Studio 3F theatre, 12 St. Marks Place, New York City
-When: Friday, May 8 at 7:30pm - Program A and Sunday, May 10 at 3:30pm - Program B. Selected artists/companies will perform in ONE of the two programs. Spacing/tech takes place same day of each show 3-4 hours before each performance.

-Who: Neville Dance Theatre plus guest companies/artists selected via application submission

 

REQUIREMENTS

Works MUST be performed on pointe and be between 5 and 15 minutes. Any style of ballet is acceptable: Classical, Neoclassical, Contemporary, etc. Professional level artists/companies encouraged. Due to space restrictions at the venue, groups of 2-4 dancers are preferred. Submissions must be the work you plan on performing. Rehearsal and performance footage accepted for works-in-process. Marley flooring provided. No glitter, liquids, props, or video projections. Basic lighting, no crossover.

 

FEES AND PROVISIONS

$28 application fee. If selected, a $165 production fee is required at contract acceptance confirmation. Artists/companies receive video, photos, and percentage of ticket sales earmarked to their company.
