Seeking 2–3 passionate and skilled Queer male dance artists with strong contemporary dance technique for a November performance with NYC based choreographer Jiemin Yang. The full evening-length work centers on a gay love story about an ancient Chinese deity.

The ideal candidate has strong partnering skills, a solid sense of musicality and rhythm, ease with smooth floorwork, and is comfortable lifting other dancers. Dancers will be required to learn how to work with a martial arts staff in rehearsals. Prior experience with a martial arts staff is a plus, but not mandatory.

We are specifically looking for collaborative dancers who enjoy the creative process, problem solving, and are open to trying new ideas.

See more details (project info, performance dates, rehearsal time, etc.) in the application form.
