Miss Shona's Performing Arts Center in Maplewood, NJ is seeking energetic, positive, responsible and reliable Modern teacher on Tuesday evenings and other teachers (styles listed below). Applicants must be available through mid-June. Teaching experience is desirable but passion for working with children is a must.

We are currently looking for teachers for the following dance styles:

Ballet/Pointe
Acro
Lyrical
Modern
Tap
Jazz
Hip Hop

Responsibilities include:
Preparing lesson plans and teaching weekly dance classes (students of all ages, including preschool) Teaching a variety of levels and ages. Choreographing dances for our June recital and performances, including selecting music and costumes. Maintaining the safety of our performers. Upholding the professionalism and fun, positive energy of Miss Shona's PAC.

Qualified applicants will be required to perform a demo class as part of the hiring process.

Pay rate is negotiable and dependent on experience and training. Teachers must have reliable transportation.
