LOOKING FOR 4-5 LATINX DANCERS

EL SUEÑO is a 10 min piece about the immigrant experience in the United States, broken down into three vingets highlighting the struggle of the journey of immigrating just to get to the final destination and it’s a cage made of gold, the fight of laborers and workers that keep this country afloat, the fight for our future generations to have a better future, and the embrace of the community we have built here, the celebration of the fruits of our labor. Contrasting experiences, showcasing how in this fight there is no monolith experience, yet we are still united in the grief, sweat, and love.

Requirements: To apply you must be LATINE, Indigenous,Afro-Latine specifically looking to cast female, femme non-binary dancers. You must have understanding of modern, contemporary technique, folklorico dance, or be comfortable with intricate footwork . Looking for artist comfortable with improv and freestyle.

Thursdays in April from 10 AM-11 AM at Creature Space in Brooklyn. 

Performance Dates: 

May 15-16 at Creature Space in Brooklyn. (Must be available for all dates)
