Eryc Taylor Dance is seeking a detail-oriented Production Assistant with strong graphic design skills and technical expertise to support our upcoming project, Surveillance in Motion.

 

Surveillance in Motion explores surveillance's impact on artists and their creative process. Duties in this role will include 

 

Key Responsibilities

- Create and edit visual assets for digital and print using graphic design tools (Canva)
- Prepare files for production, ensuring accuracy and quality standards
- Support technical setup for projects including recording cameras and llivestreams
- Troubleshoot basic technical issues 
- Collaborate with designers, producers, and other team members to meet deadlines
- Maintain organized files, assets, and documentation

 

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in a production assistant or similar role
- Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite)
- Strong technical skills and comfort working with production tools, systems, or equipment
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills

 

Preferred Qualification

- Understanding of theater technical support (lighting, sound, projection)

- Experience with video editing or motion graphics

 

Timeline: This project will run April 13th-May 28th, with key on-site dates including May 4-9, May 11-15, production week May 18-24th, and the performance taking place ~May 28th
