Cora Dance Brooklyn Programs Manager
Nikki Assanti
About Cora Dance
Cora Dance is a nonprofit arts organization that creates transformative dance experiences while addressing inequities that limit people from bonding deeply with the art form. Through its three interconnected programs—Cora Dance Alleghany (CDA), Cora Dance Brooklyn (CDB), and the nationally touring professional company Shannon Hummel/Cora Dance (SH/CD)—the organization provides professional performance, free and pay-what-you-can dance education, and community-centered events that expand equitable access to high-quality dance experiences regardless of background, income, age, or prior training. Serving both rural and urban communities, Cora Dance is recognized for combining artistic excellence with inclusive, relationship-driven programming that brings artists, students, and audiences together through meaningful creative engagement.
