Lydia Johnson Dance is an acclaimed professional company with a nonprofit school which holds classes in Maplewood and South Orange, NJ. We are seeking a Saturday early childhood ballet teacher for our Fall 2026 semester at our South Orange, NJ location.

This opportunity is on Saturday mornings/early afternoons, and includes classes for preschool and kindergarten ages. 

We teach with a noncompetitive community approach, yet the classes are well structured, age-appropriate and fun. Our school has a strong child-centered approach, and young dancers are given the chance to explore their own choreography and freedom of expression. 

The location is across the street from the South Orange NJ Transit station (about a 30-minute ride from Penn Station). Our school website is below, and the Company is at www.lydiajohnsondance.org 

Our teaching fees are competitive, and we pay every 2 weeks.
