Into-You-I-See: Choreography through Conversation is a collaborative movement workshop rooted in self-awareness and human connection, where choreography is created through conversation. Guided by prompts and critical questions, participants engage in partnered dialogue- exercising listening and building trust- to explore their thoughts, emotions, and perspectives. These exchanges become the foundation for movement, transforming personal responses into shared choreography.
This is, at its core, an ode to self-awareness—a mirror held up through the body, through another, and through the dance that emerges between. Together, we practice and strengthen this often-overlooked skill, bringing the mind-body connection and subconscious awareness to the forefront.
This is NOT a dance class. No dance experience is needed, just a body and curiosity. Whether you’re a seasoned mover or simply curious, this space invites you to connect, reflect, and create in a way that feels authentic to you.
What to Expect:
i. This workshop will begin with a guided body awareness warm-up to ground ourselves in our bodies
ii. A guided, thought-provoking partnered conversation will take place, building trust and active listening
iii. The magic: the creation of choreography born directly from these shared exchanges
Come open and ready to move in comfortable clothing.
