Position: Creative Assistant & Content Coordinator

'Sonder' choreographed by Nicolas Fiery. Performance in Théatre Antoine Watteau, France. David Arous

Dear Creative Professionals,

I am seeking a dynamic and curious, part-time assistant to join my team for the 2025/2026 season. As a freelance dancer, artistic director, and choreographer dedicated to creating art that brings people together, I’ve reached a point where I need strategic support to expand my artistic impact and business reach.

About Me:

I’m Nicolas Fiery, a Paris-born artist who has called New York City home since 2017. My artistic foundation stems from old-school hip-hop culture, acting, jazz, and modern dance. After graduating with honors from The Ailey School, I’ve had the privilege of performing at prestigious venues including Lincoln Center, New York City Center, and the Paris Bastille Opera.

My work spans multiple platforms: you may have encountered my performances with MUMOS, my creations alongside creative partner Sofía Forero, my freestyle sessions at local jams, or my content on YouTube and Instagram (@mumos.cie and @nicolasfiery). I’ve collaborated with renowned organizations including AAADT, Step One, Pajarillo Pinta’o, and others, while also establishing myself as an original Aufguss Master on the East Coast.

My commitment to global artistic exchange has taken me to over 50 countries, resulting in my documentary series “World Dance Sessions.” Most recently, a commissioned full-length work birthed “Mosaïque,” which I plan to tour across North America next season. Beyond dance, I teach throughout the tri-state area, play bass, write, make jokes, and embrace multilingual communication across five languages.

The Opportunity:

I’m seeking a versatile team member who shares my passion for purposeful art and collaborative creativity. This role encompasses both administrative and creative responsibilities, offering exposure to various aspects of arts management and content creation.

Key responsibilities include:

    •    Social media content creation and management

    •    Marketing and outreach coordination

    •    Research and administrative/ legal support

    •    Video filming or editing (experience with either preferred)

    •    General project assistance across creative initiatives

While this position currently offers part-time hours at minimum wage, there is genuine potential for growth as our collaborative efforts expand.

Application Process:

Given the collaborative nature of this work, an in-person meeting is essential. This opportunity is exclusively for NYC-based candidates.

To apply, please contact me directly at (646) 603-9261 - @nicolasfiery on social media - or email at nicolasbouvetdetayrac@gmail.com.

Please include a brief statement about your interest in this role and what draws you to arts collaboration, in other words : your why

Interviews will be scheduled between now and August 28th, 2025. Industry professionals including agents and managers are also welcome to reach out.

I look forward to building something meaningful together.

Nicolas Fiery
