Call for Submissions: Dances in Small Spaces — NYC, December 12

Presented by Rebellious Creatives at Hidden Jewel Theatre

Rebellious Creatives invites choreographers and companies to submit work for Dances in Small Spaces, an intimate evening of performance celebrating bold artistry in contained environments.

Two performances (6pm & 8pm) will take place Friday, December 12, 2025, at Hidden Jewel Theatre in New York City.

Seeking:

Completed works between 4–6 minutes

Any dance style welcome — contemporary, modern, tap, jazz, street, or experimental — as long as it can be effectively performed within a small performance area: 15' wide by 12' deep

Works should be performance-ready and suitable for an intimate audience setting.

If accepted, a $40 production fee will be due. 2 comp tickets (valued at $50) will be made available to the company.
